Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir has revealed his chat with President William Ruto at State House on Thursday when he paid the head of state a courtesy call.
The lawyer who is allied to the opposition leader Raila Odinga says he was excited to meet the president and remisnced their old days when they were friends.

Mr Kipkorir for a while now has toned down attacking the president and the Kenya Kwanza government and might be on the way to supporting the current regime.
Lawyer Kipkorir was also instrumental in Azimio petition and was among the battery of lawyers who opposed Ruto’s win in August polls.
“Yesterday, President William Ruto invited me to State House. I was joined by my friend the Attorney General Hon. JB Muturi. Then in a One-on-One with him, the President inquired on the health of my mother who has stomach cancer. He also asked about my village Cheptongei,” he said.
Kikorir also said he took the chance to repair their friendship which was injured by politics as he was supporting Raila Odinga led side.
“I was given delicious short-ribs without wine! It was a humbling experience meeting the President & repairing our friendship,” he added.
Mr Kipkorir also revealed that the president couldn’t offer him wine since the bar was demolished. The president was also in the company of AG Justin Muturi.
The president had promised to do away with the bar at State House since he is a Christian and is a taboo for born again individuals to be indulging in such activities like drinking alcohol.
