Kenyan and Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala journey at the world Atletic Championship has come to an end after finishing fifth Sunday morning.

Omanyala clocked 10.14secs in the semis, slower than the Heats on Saturday morning when he clocked 10.10secs to finish third.
His poor performance in the semis has been linked to the chaotic trip that saw his visa delayed to only 3 hours to the Saturday heat and having less than 24 hours to rest before run.
“Every challenge you face today makes you stronger tomorrow. The challenge of life is intended to make you better, not bitter. Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems,” he took to his social media.
