Fred Arocho leaves Radio Jambo after 14 years. He confirmed this through an emotional Facebook post.
“I cannot believe how time has flown, it’s now 14 years since I joined Radio Africa Group, a place I have made home.My time at RAG has taught me a lot both as a broadcaster and as a person, I will forever be grateful for the guidance and support in my role as presenter, and now as I leave I do so with pride and much satisfaction,” Arocho wrote.
He thanked his now former boss Carol Radull for helping him discover his interest in sports and for helping grow in it.
The commentator also thanked his fans for the love, appreciation and motivation he got from them through the 14 years.
“To my fans who make me who I am, thank you very much for the unwavering support,” Arocho wrote.
He co-hosted the weekend sport show with Daniel Okusimba and Toldo Kuria.
We wish him well on the next phase of his life.
