A dormitory at Kakamega High School has been razed down Saturday morning.
The morning inferno reportedly started when students were in morning preps, Habari Leo has established.
Leaders and Kenyans have now criticized the move by students in what they call “iconic Alma Marta”.
Boni Khalwale took to his Twitter and said, “As a current parent at this school, I am to say the least ashamed. Idiots!”
The school fires come at the moment when raged students all over the country are setting abalaze their classes, dormitories, and other amenities.
Cabinet Secretary for Education George Magoha Thursday instructed parents to pay for any destruction caused by their children in schools.
The latest development came after Buruburu Girls’ High School students were hospitalised after inhaling smoke in a deadly fire.
