NHIF In Search of a New CEO as  Dr.Kamunyo’s Term Ends

The National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is in search of a new chief executive office for the replacement of Dr. Peter Kamunyo whose term ends next week.

Mr Kamunyo had been  appointed at the State parastatal on April,2020,in a search that lasted two years.

NHIF has posted on its official twitter page an advert inviting applications which will run till April 26.

The insurer says that the CEO will serve on contract for a term of three years and  may be qualified for a re-appointment for a final term subject to acceptable performance .

In addition to that, the CEO  would have the responsibility to provide leadership in developing and implementing the strategic plan and effective management of resources in order to achieve its mandate.

NHIF has other adverts on vacancies in six other senior management positions ,such as the directors of beneficiary, provider management and corporate services.
