Police Break Silence Amid Wajackoyah’s Wave on Legalization of Bhang

The National police Service has cleared the air on the continued praising of Roots Party presidential candidate with his push to legalize medicinal marijuana.

In a series of tweets, NPS said that the disadvantages outweighed the advantages as advocated by many.

“Bhang is and remains illegal in Kenya. And it’s for good reasons that the plant is prohibited. The socioeconomic downside of the herb outweighs the gains,” NPS tweeted.

That’s the more reason NPS is on the offensive of eradicating cultivation and use of illegal drugs, bhang inclusive, alongside other prohibited drinks. Drug dealers and users, be warned! pic.twitter.com/XUyoADyEGH

This comes days after Roots party presidential candidate Professor Wajackoyah went viral thanks to his agenda to legalize weed for export.

In his manifesto which is yet to make it public, Wajackoyah promised that his government will clear foreign debt from the money made from selling hemp.
