His Excellency Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o , the governor of Kisumu county suspends demonstrations in his county indefinitely to join demonstrations in Nairobi.

From the press release posted on his Twitter account, he says that the people of Kisumu have been demanding for the opening of the 2022 Presidential election servers to determine who actually won the seat.

He goes ahead and says that the message has been expressed and delivered to the Azimio La Umoja leader, Raila Amollo Odinga to resolve their stand in his quest for justice .

Here are the three announcements made in the press release;

1. All public demonstrations within Kisumu county have from today been suspended indefinitely so that we can join the demonstrations in Nairobi .

2. That the people of Kisumu remain committed to the aspirations of Azimio La Umoja and its campaign for better a Kenya.

3. And finally , that the people of Kisumu to work in tandem with law enforcement officers to maintain peace and security in their county.
