Deputy president William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga Sunday engaged in an online fight after failed Jacaranda rally.
The stand off between Azimio followers, Kenya Kwanza supporters and police was witnessed after the two groups said they had booke the same venue.

According to KKA, they booked the place after paying Ksh 30,000. Azimio group through Babu Owino had announced they will use the same venue for their rally and later notified their followers that they had cancelled.
After finishing his service at jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu, DP Ruto made his way to Jacaranda where his supporters and that of the opponents clashed.
According to Ruto, the chaos was planned by his opponents and deep state.
Attacking Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate, Ruto insisted that Raila is the lord of violence after his convoy was pelted with stones.
“Mr Kitendawili, the lord of violence, has done it again: Hired innocent, desperate & jobless young people, victims of his sabotage of the big4 jobs plan, to shed innocent blood in his eternal quest for power. What a shame on fathers day Mr father of violence. Freedom is coming Aug 9th,” he tweeted.
Replying the allegations, Raila lost his cool as he went bare knuckle against the DP. Raila branded Ruto as a ‘Mr six months’ and that his antics were a way of seeking sympathy votes.
“Mr Six months, for how long will you blame everyone for everything that befalls you. It’s not okay to be rudderless, clueless and plan-less. This country is slowly overcoming fraudsters and shortcuts that define your politics. Maliza uende. There is no room for sympathy votes,” Raila tweeted.
The stand off between the two horses paints a bad picture in political intolerance with less than 50 days to polls,
