Ukraine War: Zelenskyy Visits Sumy Region A Year Later

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the  Sumy region of Ukraine which is located near the Russia -Ukraine border.

This marks an year after the country recaptured this region from the Russians.

The region was partially invaded by the Russian troops in the beginning of the state war but in  early April 2022  they  width drew.

In His country wide tour, President Zelenskyy assured his people at a crowded square in Okhtyrka that the cities affected by the war will be rebuilt.

Russia says” it is willing to talk peace but stresses that its security concerns comes first.”
