President Uhuru Kenyatta has hinted support for Raila Odinga and Martha Karua presidency.
While speaking during the 59th Madaraka Day celebrations, President Kenyatta said that his administration has seen many women leaders taking high profile positions as compared to other regimes.

President Kenyatta confirmed his administration has had 11 women taking big positions with cabinet Secretary of Foreign Affairs being led by women in his ten-year tenure.
Sarcastically, he hinted that the next elections could see women leaders taking charge of the country as the Deputy President if Kenyans wish so.
“In August this year, if it is the wish of the people of Kenya we have a chance to elect a woman and shattering the glass ceiling by assuming the second highest office if the republic of Kenya,” he said.
Kenyans attending the event cheered as many wanted him to talk more about endorsing Raila Odinga-Martha Karua presidency under the Azimio la Umoja.
