The raising concerns of Mt Kenya politicians not putting Azimio la Umoja- One Kenya fla bearer, Raila odinga, in their posters has been disputed by Nyeri MP, Ngunjiri Wambugu.
Kenyans have been doubting the support Raila is receiving on the ground with leaders shying off from having ODM boss pictures alongside theirs on billboards and posters.

While speaking to the press, Wambugu allayed fears that they are not trusting Azimio and not putting Raila’s photos in posters.
“We want to be elected based on our standards so that we don’t get confused. You go and hide behind the SG by putting a big photo of SG and people will vote for you and immeditely you are voted in you start insulting him,” he said.
He added, “We want to generate personal responsibility, we don;t want leaders to be voted for because they have a picture of Uhuru”.
Some Mt kenya leaders had said that the ground is harsh and associating themselves with Raila would jeorpadize their bids.
This comes weeks after Azimio promised to crack whip on Mt Kenya leaders avoiding to mention Raila in their campaigns by campaigning for themselves only.
“Those who have shown commitment will get lots of ammo [finance] from me. Do not have any doubts about that.
“I have since directed that we get ward, constituency and county campaign committees and sync them with the presidential campaign secretariat that has former Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju as the executive director, ” Raila stated.
